Data Collection
The Universal Astro Clipper extension collects only the following data:
- The URL and title of the current page when you click the extension icon or when a supported site is loaded
- A small snippet of the page content (first 2000 characters) for AI-powered object detection on unsupported sites
- Your AstrophotoMarket.com account token (stored locally in your browser)
What We Do NOT Collect
- No browsing history
- No data from sites you do not interact with
- No telemetry, analytics, or tracking pixels
- No personal data beyond your account information
Data Storage
All data is stored locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local. Your API token is used solely to authenticate requests to AstrophotoMarket.com services.
Third Parties
We do not share your data with any third parties. The extension communicates only with astrophotomarket.com domains.
