This dataset captures Sh2-126, also known as the Great Lacerta Nebula or Gecko Nebula, over 36 hours of total integration time. The data were collected between August 14 and September 18, 2025, using a Sky-Watcher Esprit 120mm telescope paired with a ZWO ASI2600MM Pro camera on an AM5 mount.
The acquisition comprises 433 total frames: 194 luminance exposures at 300 seconds each through an Antlia 2-inch filter, 163 narrowband hydrogen-alpha frames with an Antlia 3nm filter, and RGB colour data split across 26 green, 25 blue, and 25 red frames, all at 300-second exposures. This combination of broadband and narrowband data allows for flexible processing approaches to reveal the nebula's intricate structure.
The dataset is available as a one-time purchase for approximately $24.90 under a CC BY-NC 4.0 license, permitting copying, modification, and redistribution for non-commercial purposes.
