This dataset captures IC 1396, commonly known as the Elephant's Trunk Nebula, through 46.25 hours of narrowband imaging acquired between August 8 and August 16, 2025. The collection comprises 555 total frames: 157 in hydrogen-alpha, 220 in sulfur-II, and 178 in oxygen-III, all captured with Antlia 4.5nm filters at 300-second exposures. Imaging was performed using an Askar 103 APO refractor paired with a ZWO ASI2600MM Pro monochrome camera on an AM5N mount.
The data is released under CC0 1.0 Universal, placing it in the public domain with no copyright restrictions. Access is available through a one-time purchase of approximately $29.90, providing complete freedom to process, publish, or redistribute the calibrated frames without attribution requirements.
