This dataset captures the Vela supernova remnant through 31.5 hours of narrowband imaging acquired between December 2025 and January 2026. The data comprises 21 frames each through Astrodon 5nm Hydrogen Alpha, Oxygen III, and Sulfur II filters, with all exposures lasting 1800 seconds. Imaging was performed using a Takahashi FSQ-N F/5 telescope paired with an FLI PL16803 camera, tracked on a Software Bisque Paramount ME mount.
The tri-band narrowband approach isolates emission from ionized gases within this ancient stellar explosion, enabling detailed mapping of shock structures and elemental distributions across the remnant. All 63 calibrated frames are available as a free download under CC BY 4.0 licensing, permitting unrestricted use with appropriate attribution to the original author.
