Thanks I have quite a few data sets waiting but the ones I have processed have been excellent. I do not yet put any iimage on line as I have had many health issues and difficulties with software and hardware. I am a 73 year old learner with defective colour vision and barely 3 months using PixInsight and Photoshop cc so it is as steep for me as it is difficult to see stars in my letterbox of Bortle 7 city sky…

This was a fun image to process, especially since I had never worked with the Askar D2 filters before. One thing to note is that the three files are not quite star-aligned correctly, so be sure to do that first before processing these data yourself.

Great data. I am a PixInsight newbie but have 6 months of astrophotography experience courtesy of Seestar. Once I workrd out how to process the mono narrowband files I was able to produce a very acceptable image. I think. It isn’t goung on line but I printed it for my collection. Thank you! This dataset captures NGC 1909, commonly known as the Witch Head Nebula, a reflection nebula imaged under Bortle 3 skies. The data comprises 11 hours of total integration time collected on 2025-12-19 using a Redcat 51 telescope paired with a ZWO ASI1600MM Pro camera on a Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer GTI mount. The acquisition includes 220 frames across four filters: 70 luminance frames at 180 seconds each, plus 50 frames each through Optolong R, G, and B filters, also at 180-second exposures. This multi-channel dataset provides calibrated narrowband and broadband information suitable for detailed color processing of this faint reflection nebula. The material is available as a free download under CC BY-NC 4.0 license, permitting copying, modification, and redistribution for non-commercial purposes.
