This dataset captures Messier 94, also known as NGC 4736 or the Croc's Eye Galaxy, through 95 frames totaling 4.75 hours of integration time. Each exposure lasted 180 seconds and was captured through an Optolong L-Quad Enhance 2" filter, designed to suppress light pollution while preserving key nebular wavelengths. The imaging train consisted of an Askar 71F telescope paired with a ZWO ASI 533MC Pro camera, mounted on an AM3 tracking platform.
Data collection spanned from May 2 to May 26, 2025. The dataset is available as a free download under a CC BY-NC 4.0 license, permitting copying, modification and redistribution for non-commercial purposes. This collection provides calibrated sub-exposures suitable for stacking and further processing by astrophotographers working with this prominent spring galaxy in Canes Venatici.
