This dataset captures the Great Orion Nebula (NGC 1976, also known as M42), one of the most photographed deep-sky objects in the northern hemisphere. The data comprises 43 frames taken through an Optolong UV/IR filter, each with a 300-second exposure, yielding a total integration time of 3.58 hours. Acquisition took place over two nights in mid-January 2026 using a William Optics 81 GT IV telescope paired with an ASI294MM Pro camera on a NEQ6-Pro mount. The dataset is available as a one-time purchase for approximately $7.90 and is released under a CC BY-NC 4.0 license, permitting copying, modification, and redistribution for non-commercial purposes.
