¿Cómo se calibran y apilan esos archivos?
Usamos la versión más reciente de PixInsight y el proceso estándar del script WBPP con Normalización Local aplicada.
¿Cómo compro la imagen?
Funcionamos como cualquier tienda en línea. Simplemente añade la imagen al carrito, proporciona tus datos personales para la factura y paga el pedido con tarjeta de crédito (los pagos son gestionados por Stripe; actualmente es el único método aceptado).

NGC 3293 — The Gem Cluster
A young, jewel-like open star cluster in the constellation Carina, about 8,000 light-years away. NGC 3293 is one of the youngest known star clusters in the southern sky — its bright blue main-sequence stars are only 6-10 million years old, which is the cosmic equivalent of yesterday. Mixed among them are a handful of red and orange supergiants that have already evolved off the main sequence in spite of the cluster's youth — these massive stars burn through their nuclear fuel astonishingly quickly, sometimes in just a few million years. The contrast between the hot blue young stars and the cooler red supergiants gives the cluster its jewel-box appearance. NGC 3293 sits within the much larger Carina molecular cloud complex; the diffuse red Ha emission glowing across the field is ionised hydrogen from the cluster's hot stars lighting up the surrounding gas, sometimes catalogued as Gum 30. The dark voids on the lower-left of the field are dense dust filaments threading through the wider Carina region.

Captured from Willoughby in suburban Sydney (Bortle 7) over 4 nights in early May 2026 — tight narrowband filters make targets like this accessible from urban skies. 20.8 hours captured under the mid moon.

This was a fun image to process, especially since I had never worked with the Askar D2 filters before. One thing to note is that the three files are not quite star-aligned correctly, so be sure to do that first before processing these data yourself.

I'm getting to grips with PixInsight and needed some real world data files. Astrophotomarket seemed to be the best choice and recommend.

Great data. I am a PixInsight newbie but have 6 months of astrophotography experience courtesy of Seestar. Once I workrd out how to process the mono narrowband files I was able to produce a very acceptable image. I think. It isn’t goung on line but I printed it for my collection. Thank you!
