Master Light Frames. Datos astronómicos crudos capturados por la cámara. Tomas ya calibradas, registradas y apiladas, listas para procesar en software como PixInsight. ¿Cómo se calibran y apilan esos archivos?
Usamos la versión más reciente de PixInsight y el proceso estándar del script WBPP con Normalización Local aplicada.

Extremely faint supernova remnants in the constellation Auriga.

Only about 1% of astrophotographers attempt to capture these objects due to their extreme difficulty. I managed to collect 50 hours of high-quality data.

Thanks I have quite a few data sets waiting but the ones I have processed have been excellent. I do not yet put any iimage on line as I have had many health issues and difficulties with software and hardware. I am a 73 year old learner with defective colour vision and barely 3 months using PixInsight and Photoshop cc so it is as steep for me as it is difficult to see stars in my letterbox of Bortle 7 city sky…

Sobre este conjunto

This dataset captures Sh-2 223 and Sh-2 224, two Sharpless catalogue emission nebulae, over 50 hours of total integration. Acquisition ran from 17 January to 15 March 2026 using an Askar FRA 300 telescope paired with a ZWO ASI294Mc Pro colour camera on a Sky-Watcher EQ6 Pro mount. All 600 frames were taken through an Optolong L-Ultimate dual narrowband filter at 300 seconds each, isolating hydrogen-alpha and oxygen-III emission lines. The data is offered under a CC BY 4.0 license, permitting copying, modification and redistribution with appropriate credit, and is available as a one-time purchase for approximately $43.90.
