LDN 43, known as the Cosmic Bat Nebula, is a dark nebula captured across 13.7 hours of total integration time between July 31 and August 29, 2024. The dataset comprises 412 frames taken with an ASI294MM Pro camera through a TS-130 APO Refractor on an AM5 mount. The imaging sequence includes 227 luminance frames at 120 seconds each, complemented by 63 blue, 61 green, and 61 red filtered exposures using Antlia 1.25-inch filters, all at matching 120-second durations. This multi-channel approach provides complete RGB color data alongside detailed luminance information, suitable for processing the subtle dust structures that define this distinctive celestial object.
