This planetary nebula is small and bright. It's surrounded by clouds of diffuse hydrogen. Due to its small size, the Ha master is drizzled 2x as it contains all the details. OIII is diffuse and in native sensor resolution. R, B and B for stars are also provided. Files are registered and cropped.

The quality of the data downloaded from Astrophoto was of good quality. It appears that the servers can only upload data at about 10Mbps, so my download speed was restricted to that value. Based on my exploration of the site, the value for the data within is quite good.

Thanks I have quite a few data sets waiting but the ones I have processed have been excellent. I do not yet put any iimage on line as I have had many health issues and difficulties with software and hardware. I am a 73 year old learner with defective colour vision and barely 3 months using PixInsight and Photoshop cc so it is as steep for me as it is difficult to see stars in my letterbox of Bortle 7 city sky…

This was a fun image to process, especially since I had never worked with the Askar D2 filters before. One thing to note is that the three files are not quite star-aligned correctly, so be sure to do that first before processing these data yourself.

Great data. I am a PixInsight newbie but have 6 months of astrophotography experience courtesy of Seestar. Once I workrd out how to process the mono narrowband files I was able to produce a very acceptable image. I think. It isn’t goung on line but I printed it for my collection. Thank you! This dataset captures Abell 79, a planetary nebula, through 12.9 hours of total integration time collected between August 12 and 14, 2024. The acquisition employed a Sky-Watcher MN190 telescope paired with a ZWO ASI1600MM Pro camera on a Sky-Watcher EQ6 Pro mount. Narrowband imaging dominates the data, with 110 frames through an Antlia 3nm H-alpha filter and 34 frames through an Antlia 3nm OIII filter, each exposed for 300 seconds. Additional RGB detail comes from 105 frames captured with an Astronomik DeepSky RGB filter at 30 seconds per exposure. The material is available under a CC BY 4.0 license for approximately $21.90 as a one-time purchase, permitting copying, modification and redistribution with appropriate credit to the original author.
