This dataset captures Abell 79, a planetary nebula, through 12.9 hours of total integration time collected between August 12 and 14, 2024. The acquisition employed a Sky-Watcher MN190 telescope paired with a ZWO ASI1600MM Pro camera on a Sky-Watcher EQ6 Pro mount. Narrowband imaging dominates the data, with 110 frames through an Antlia 3nm H-alpha filter and 34 frames through an Antlia 3nm OIII filter, each exposed for 300 seconds. Additional RGB detail comes from 105 frames captured with an Astronomik DeepSky RGB filter at 30 seconds per exposure. The material is available under a CC BY 4.0 license for approximately $21.90 as a one-time purchase, permitting copying, modification and redistribution with appropriate credit to the original author.
