This dataset captures LDN 1622, commonly known as the Boogeyman Nebula, a dark nebula in Orion. The data spans from January 31 to February 14, 2025, accumulating 22.57 hours of total integration time. Imaging was performed with a TS-130 APO Refractor and an ASI294MM Pro camera mounted on an AM5 mount. The acquisition includes 130 luminance frames at 300 seconds each, 61 narrowband hydrogen-alpha frames at 300 seconds through an Antlia 3nm filter, and RGB color data totaling 133 frames at 180 seconds per exposure using Antlia filters. This combination of broadband and narrowband data provides detailed structural information of the dark molecular cloud against the surrounding emission regions. The dataset is available as a one-time purchase for approximately $17.90 under a CC BY-NC 4.0 license, permitting copy, modification and redistribution for non-commercial purposes.
