For this nebula, I went for a simple SHO processing
- use Sii as red channel, Ha as green channel, Oiii as blue channel
- background extraction for each channel
- combine the channels together
- apply 70% SCNR (green tone removal) - some people choose to remove completely the strong green tones from the Ha channel but I find that unappealing
- stretch the image using MAS (MultiscaleAdaptiveStretch)
- stretch Ha and use as a Luminance channel and apply to the SHO image to clean chromatic noise
- StarXterminator - for the stars, i choose to remove any magenta tones and a bit more of the green hues
- for the nebula, I apply a subtle HDR to bring out the nebula's structure; also a bit of LocalHistogramEqualization to enhance it more; then, I increase slightly the saturation and I enhance the dark regions. Finally, I apply NoiseXterminator
- as a last step, I combine the nebula with the stars and I apply BlurXterminator on the result
