This dataset captures NGC 1499, the California Nebula, through 4 hours of total integration time gathered between December 8 and 10, 2025. The acquisition consists of 48 frames at 300 seconds each, all taken through an Askar E1 Dual Band 3nm filter targeting hydrogen-alpha and doubly ionized oxygen emission lines. The imaging train paired a NIKON 400mm f/2.8 telephoto lens with a ZWO ASI2600MC Air camera, mounted on an AM5N tracking platform. This emission nebula in Perseus spans roughly 2.5 degrees of sky, making the 400mm focal length well suited to frame the entire cloud structure. The data is offered as a one-time purchase at approximately $14.90 under a CC BY-NC 4.0 license, permitting copying, modification and redistribution for non-commercial purposes.
