This dataset captures NGC 3034, better known as the Cigar Galaxy (M82), through 27 hours of total integration acquired between March 1 and March 6, 2018. The imaging train consisted of a TEC 160FL telescope paired with an SBIG 8300STF camera on a Paramount ME mount. Broadband luminance data forms the foundation with 41 frames at 900 seconds each through an Astrodon Gen1 E-Series Tru-Balance Lum filter, complemented by RGB channels: 12 red frames, 11 green frames, and 10 blue frames, all at 900-second exposures. Narrowband hydrogen-alpha detail was added through 18 total frames using an Astrodon 5nm HA filter, split between 3 frames at 1200 seconds and 15 frames at 1800 seconds. The complete calibrated dataset is available as a free download under a CC BY-NC 4.0 license, permitting copying, modification, and redistribution for non-commercial purposes.
