This dataset captures NGC 6853, the Dumbbell Nebula (also known as M27), through 20 hours of total integration time collected between July 1 and July 10, 2025. The imaging setup combined 174 frames through an Optolong L-Quad Enhance 2" filter and 66 frames through a Svbony CLS filter, all at 300-second exposures. Equipment included a Meade 8" ACF telescope paired with a PlayerOne Artemis C PRO camera, mounted on an EQ6-R Pro tracking system.
The dual-filter approach provides both enhanced nebular detail from the L-QEF and broadband suppression of light pollution via the CLS filter. This planetary nebula in Vulpecula offers excellent structural detail in narrowband-enhanced imaging. The data is released under CC0 1.0 Universal license, making it available as a free download with no copyright restrictions for any use.
