This dataset captures the Iris Nebula through 200 frames of 300-second exposures using an Optolong L Quad filter, accumulating 16.67 hours of total integration time. The data was acquired between August 5 and August 7, 2026, using a Samyang 135mm F2.0 ED UMC lens paired with a ZWO ASI 533MC Pro camera on a NEQ6-Pro mount. The combination of the fast 135mm lens and the one-shot color camera makes this a practical setup for capturing the delicate nebulosity surrounding this reflection nebula in Cepheus.
Released under the CC0 1.0 Universal license, this dataset is available as a free download, placing it directly into the public domain with no copyright restrictions. The substantial integration time and quadband filter should provide good signal for processing the characteristic blue reflection nebulosity and surrounding dust structures.
