This dataset captures NGC 4258, better known as M106, a spiral galaxy in Canes Venatici. The collection spans 14.5 hours of total integration time, gathered between February 23 and March 27, 2020. Imaging was performed with a Takahashi CCA250 telescope paired with a Moravian G4-KAF16803 camera on a Paramount ME mount. The data comprises 87 frames across four channels: 51 luminance exposures at 600 seconds each, plus 12 frames apiece through Astrodon Gen1 E-Series Tru-Balance red, green, and blue filters, all at matching 600-second exposures. This LRGB set provides balanced colour information alongside deep luminance detail. The dataset is available for approximately $29.90 as a one-time purchase under a CC BY-NC 4.0 license, permitting copying, modification, and redistribution for non-commercial purposes.
