LDN 1235, commonly known as the Dark Shark Nebula, is a dark nebula captured over three nights from August 23 to 25, 2025. This dataset comprises 11.87 hours of total integration time across RGB channels using an Askar 400 telescope paired with a ZWO ASI2600MM Pro camera on an AM5 mount.
The acquisition includes 133 frames through an Antlia Red 2.00" filter, 112 frames through Antlia Green, and 111 frames through Antlia Blue, all at 120-second exposures. The data is available as a free download under a CC BY-NC 4.0 license, permitting copying, modification, and redistribution for non-commercial purposes. This RGB dataset provides nearly twelve hours of calibrated exposures suitable for processing the distinctive dark molecular cloud structure that gives this nebula its shark-like appearance.
