I’ve been passionate about astronomy since I was about 8 years old, starting with a small 60mm Tasco refractor in the 1980s, couldn't see anything out of it except the moon! But that early curiosity grew into years of observing with progressively larger telescopes.
However, I began astrophotography in 2012, first under Sydney’s light‑polluted skies, then in the Blue Mountains and now back in Sydney under bortle 7/8 conditions. I currently image with a Sky‑Watcher Esprit 100ED on an NEQ6Pro, using an unmodded Canon 6D, a ZWO533MC Pro on loan and my ZWO 6200MM Pro.
