How are those files calibrated and stacked?
We use the newest version of PixInsight software and WBPP script standard process with Local Normalization applied.
How do I purchase Image?
We work as any other standard on-line store. Simply add the image to the cart, provide your personal data for the bill/invoice and pay for the order by Credit Card - Payments are handled by Stripe (currently only one acceptable payment method).
I am not satisfied with the purchase
All files are carefully checked but if you're not satisfied - just write us within 14 days from purchase and we will make a refund. We only require that after the refund you delete all purchased files.

Description
M31 (the Andromeda Galaxy) is a large spiral galaxy located about 2.5 million light-years away in the constellation Andromeda. It is the nearest major galaxy to the Milky Way and is on a slow collision course with it, expected to occur in about 4–5 billion years. With a diameter of roughly 220,000 light-years, M31 is slightly larger than our galaxy and contains around one trillion stars. Under dark skies, it is visible to the naked eye as a faint, elongated glow.

About this dataset

This dataset captures the Andromeda Galaxy (NGC 224, also known as M31) over two nights in early September 2025. The acquisition comprises 150 frames through an Optolong L-Quad Enhance 2" filter, each exposed for 120 seconds, yielding five hours of total integration time. Imaging was performed with a PlayerOne Artemis C PRO camera mounted on a Tecnosky OWL 90/540 telescope operating at 432mm focal length, tracked by a Celestron CGX mount. The L-Quad Enhance filter is designed to suppress light pollution while preserving emission nebulae and broadband galaxy detail, making it well suited for capturing M31's spiral structure and dust lanes from light-polluted sites. The dataset is available as a one-time purchase for approximately $7.90 under a CC BY-NC 4.0 license, permitting copying, modification and redistribution for non-commercial purposes.
