Master Light Frames. Raw astronomical data captured by the camera. Already calibrated, registered and stacked light frames ready for processing in software like PixInsight. Files have FITS extension. Product description above explains how many light frames are included. For example: for typical LRGB image you will receive separate files for R, G, B and L channel (4 files).

In case of this data set, in addition to the Master Light Frames, there are also individual, already calibrated FITS files available for download. You can use them in combination with your own frames, for example, to register & stack the image to increase the exposure time and boost the signal.
How are those files calibrated and stacked?
We use the newest version of PixInsight software and WBPP script standard process with Local Normalization applied.
How do I purchase Image?
We work as any other standard on-line store. Simply add the image to the cart, provide your personal data for the bill/invoice and pay for the order by Credit Card - Payments are handled by Stripe (currently only one acceptable payment method).
I am not satisfied with the purchase
All files are carefully checked but if you're not satisfied - just write us within 14 days from purchase and we will make a refund. We only require that after the refund you delete all purchased files.

About this dataset

This dataset captures M 45, commonly known as the Pleiades or catalogued as Melotte 22, one of the nearest and brightest open star clusters visible from Earth. The data comprises 89 frames taken through a UVIR filter with 120-second exposures each, totalling approximately 2.97 hours of integration time. All frames were acquired on 2025-10-18 using an Askar FRA500/5.6 telescope paired with a ZWO ASI 533MC Pro camera on an AM5N mount. The Pleiades is a young cluster dominated by hot blue stars surrounded by faint reflection nebulosity, making it a popular target for both visual observers and astrophotographers.
