What exactly am I buying?
Master Light Frames. Raw astronomical data captured by the camera. Already calibrated, registered and stacked light frames ready for processing in software like PixInsight. Files have FITS extension. Product description above explains how many light frames are included. For example: for typical LRGB image you will receive separate files for R, G, B and L channel (4 files).
How are those files calibrated and stacked?
We use the newest version of PixInsight software and WBPP script standard process with Local Normalization applied.
How do I purchase Image?
We work as any other standard on-line store. Simply add the image to the cart, provide your personal data for the bill/invoice and pay for the order by Credit Card - Payments are handled by Stripe (currently only one acceptable payment method).
I am not satisfied with the purchase
All files are carefully checked but if you're not satisfied - just write us within 14 days from purchase and we will make a refund. We only require that after the refund you delete all purchased files.

Description
A luminous star-forming region on the northern edge of the vast Carina Nebula complex, about 7,500 light-years away in the southern constellation Carina. The nebula's popular name comes from the striking resemblance of its glowing wall of gas and dust to a human face in profile — it's named after the Chilean poet Gabriela Mistral, the first Latin American woman to win the Nobel Prize in Literature. The bright cavity at the centre has been carved out by the fierce ultraviolet radiation and stellar winds of the hot young stars of the open cluster within, hollowing out the surrounding molecular cloud. The glowing teal-cyan light filling the cavity is doubly-ionised oxygen (OIII), indicating gas heated to high temperatures by the embedded stars, while the warm gold and copper tones of the surrounding wall are hydrogen (Ha) and sulphur (SII) emission from cooler, denser gas being eroded and sculpted by that radiation. The dramatic dust pillars and ridges silhouetted against the bright cavity are dense columns of gas resisting the erosion — potential sites where the next generation of stars may form, much like the famous "Pillars of Creation" in the Eagle Nebula. This same region sits adjacent to the area imaged by JWST in its first released images in 2022.
Captured from Willoughby in suburban Sydney (Bortle 7) over five nights between May and June 2026, combining dual-narrowband and sulphur data for a full SHO palette.

Thanks I have quite a few data sets waiting but the ones I have processed have been excellent. I do not yet put any iimage on line as I have had many health issues and difficulties with software and hardware. I am a 73 year old learner with defective colour vision and barely 3 months using PixInsight and Photoshop cc so it is as steep for me as it is difficult to see stars in my letterbox of Bortle 7 city sky…

This was a fun image to process, especially since I had never worked with the Askar D2 filters before. One thing to note is that the three files are not quite star-aligned correctly, so be sure to do that first before processing these data yourself.

I'm getting to grips with PixInsight and needed some real world data files. Astrophotomarket seemed to be the best choice and recommend.

Great data. I am a PixInsight newbie but have 6 months of astrophotography experience courtesy of Seestar. Once I workrd out how to process the mono narrowband files I was able to produce a very acceptable image. I think. It isn’t goung on line but I printed it for my collection. Thank you!
