This dataset captures NGC 1976, the Great Orion Nebula (M42), through 17.6 hours of total integration time collected between 15 and 26 December 2025. The acquisition combined 240 frames at 120 seconds each through an Optolong L-Extreme HA-OIII 7nm 2" narrowband filter with 555 unfiltered frames at 62 seconds exposure. Imaging was performed using a William Optics Zenth Star 73 telescope paired with a Player One Posiden camera on a Sky-Watcher EQ6 Pro mount. The dual-filter approach provides both narrowband emission detail and broadband luminance data of this iconic stellar nursery in Orion. Released under CC0 1.0 UNIVERSAL license, the complete raw dataset is available as a free download for processing, research, or educational use.
