What exactly am I buying?
Master Light Frames. Raw astronomical data captured by the camera. Already calibrated, registered and stacked light frames ready for processing in software like PixInsight. Files have FITS extension. Product description above explains how many light frames are included. For example: for typical LRGB image you will receive separate files for R, G, B and L channel (4 files).
How are those files calibrated and stacked?
We use the newest version of PixInsight software and WBPP script standard process with Local Normalization applied.
How do I purchase Image?
We work as any other standard on-line store. Simply add the image to the cart, provide your personal data for the bill/invoice and pay for the order by Credit Card - Payments are handled by Stripe (currently only one acceptable payment method).
I am not satisfied with the purchase
All files are carefully checked but if you're not satisfied - just write us within 14 days from purchase and we will make a refund. We only require that after the refund you delete all purchased files.

About this dataset

This dataset captures NGC 1976, the Great Orion Nebula, through nearly 11 hours of total integration time collected between December 26, 2024, and January 5, 2025. The acquisition employed an ASI294MM Pro monochrome camera paired with a TS-130 APO Refractor on an AM5 mount. The imaging strategy combined deep 180-second exposures across all four channels (93 luminance, 38 blue, 36 green, and 36 red frames) with shorter 30-second exposures to preserve core detail (25 luminance, 24 red, 24 green, and 23 blue frames), addressing the extreme dynamic range of this stellar nursery. All filters were Antlia 1.25-inch LRGB units. The data is available as a one-time purchase at approximately $19.90 under a CC BY-NC 4.0 license, permitting copying, modification, and redistribution for non-commercial purposes.
